This site is deliberately light on tracking. Nothing here follows you around the internet.
Essential storage
The website uses a small amount of browser storage that is necessary for it to work, for example protecting the enquiry form against cross-site request forgery, and temporarily holding your running-cost calculator figures in your browser's session storage if you choose to attach them to an enquiry. That calculator data stays on your device unless you submit the form, and is cleared when you close the tab.
Advertising and tracking cookies
Colne Climate does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking on this website.
Third-party requests
The running-cost calculator requests the current outside temperature from a public weather service so the estimate reflects real conditions. If you choose "use my location", your browser asks your permission first, and the coordinates are used only to fetch that temperature. They are not stored by Colne Climate.
Controlling storage
You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may stop the enquiry form from working correctly.
